Overall seniority at Delta reshuffle?

Just took a look at my overall number at DAL. I'm roughly a third from the top, but I've somehow slipped 39 numbers BACK between now and next May. Anybody else seen this?

Mil returns?

Mercury is in retrograde, it can negatively affect all airline operations, according to astrology reports.

Not sure what you are looking at, but the only projected lists are the ones published in May of 2015 for the two AEs previous to this most recent one.

Is that what you are looking at? If so, it makes sense because there have been a few months of retirements between then and now.

Yeah I don't see any May 2016 projections, just the one for February 2016. But I'm anxiously awaiting the one for the recent ae.

Should not affect the overall number as they don't leave the SL when on ML.

Just checked it again. From the September 2015 to the February 2016 cat lists I slid 39 numbers BACK on the overall seniority list.
Did some retirees return to the line?
It can't be just me that's affected. If you are junior to @ 4400 you slid too.

There are no category lists posted for FEB of 16. There is a projected list for categories as of the prior AE which I think was May. That list would use your seniority number as of May. If you look at the Sep actual category list it uses your current seniority number. It appears 39 pilots senior to you have retired since the projected list was published in May. You have slid forward not back.

I believe that the Projected Feb16 list is using seniority numbers from the original AE bid the list is based on; in this case 10Mar15. It would make sense that the seniority numbers on the Actual Category list for Sep15 (actually posted 03Aug15, probably using Aug15 seniority numbers) would be different in what looks like a negative direction.

IOW, you can't compare seniority numbers directly between the two lists, because they are using two different base months.
