75/76 brake temp indications

Re: the ual forum discussion on 767-300 brake temps. Does your airline have brake temp indications on the 75/76 fleet? Is it standard? I know for a fact AA does not have them, always wondered why.

Also, another difference I noticed: the 3 CWS switches below the 3 autopilot switches. AA has them removed...does your airline have them and are they authorized for use?

At Delta, there are brake temp indications on the 75/76 fleet. And the CWS buttons are on the MCP but I don't think anyone really uses them.

The DAL 75/76s had brake temps, but not the NW 75s.

All but the newer had CWS switches, but I've never seen anyone use them. I suppose you would if you wanted to see what it's like to hand fly an airbus... but there wasn't a prohibition

US 757s (and 762s when we had them) don't have brake temps, but most of the airplanes do have the CWS switches. I've never seen the CWS used, and there was no mention of how they work/what to do with them in any phase of training.

Break temperature I thought it was mandatory after the National flight crash for Nigeria Airways of 1991????

At ANA the CWS switches have been removed a while back for the whole fleet, even the old BCF's....!
