Airline Pilot Go Kit/Preparedness

Not to be the paranoid type but with the things going on in the world as of lately this topic popped into my mind.

I am just curious what some guys/gals may carry with them that is practical in a roll-aboard for the chance something happens while they are out on a trip in an unfamiliar city. Not particularly a violent attack but also a biological type attack. If things happen at home its a completely different story. Considering most of us are on the road about half the time I feel like I should maybe take some general precautions. I've always felt better safe than sorry.

Anyways things I was thinking of:

Antibiotics
Surgical Mask
Small First Aid Kit

You've first gotta decide where you're most likely going to be when you need your bug out bag BoB. Europe? Domestic? South Am? If you're overseas then you're probably looking for something to hold you over until you can make your way to our embassy or consulate or military base or another friendly nations embassy.
If you're stateside and you're gonna try to make it home across a few states that's gonna be a bigger BoB.
Minimum...Survival straw, meds, bandages of diff sizes, antibiotic ointment, insect repellent, two small lighters, power bars, Pepto pills, small tin of fishing line/hooks, mirror and whistle all fit in a very very small bag.
This should get you through long enough to arm yourself.

Thanks Gunga...Thats pretty good stuff. I'm thinking more domestic for my specific purpose.

You guys are missing the most important one....

Money.

Unless you're seriously injured, this will most likely solve more of your problems than anything else you could bring.

How would you get antibiotics? They're prescription only.

Most doctors will prescribe you something like Cipro if you explain what you do and the threat of being caught out of country or town and facing illness. Cipro is good because it is strong and will combat most forms of Anthrax.

You can also purchase the exact same antibiotics that they prescribe for people without a prescription by purchasing animal meds.
