LAX RV parking lot?
Anybody have any info on the parking lot with RV's in it at LAX? I am very interested in buying an RV and crashing there when needed, or renting one already parked there. I am getting conflicting reports if parking/living there is still an option, and was wondering if anybody on here had some specifics and/or contact info. Thanks in advance.

The airport authority is not allowing any new RV's in.
The rumor is that the spirit of the lot was abused by folks using it as cheap storage and RV graveyard.

Has not accepted new entrants in over a year. They were down to 60 something guys left, last I heard. It will be gone soon, but it's a shame they won't fill empty slots while it's still open. That would be easy money for the parking authority that took over a couple years ago.

You know the whole housing market is ****ed up in city when it's literally cheaper to buy/finance an RV, pay tax/tag/title and insurance, and pay $120/mo for the parking permit than it is to rent an apartment.
What a dump, and to think people pay out their nose to move there to satisfy a dream.

commute to RSV in LAX.
Somewhere to rest the head if not able to make it home.
Not a bad option to have, until able to hold a line.
