National Airline
Just read where National Airlines is getting into the scheduled tourist airline market starting with MCO but looking to get into NY to Puerto Rico.
National Airlines sees demand for growth months after opening - Orlando Sentinel Are we witnessing ATA part deux? Successful Military ACMI carrier that tries to get into the 121 game to it's eventual demise? |

Saw them in San Juan last week was wondering what their deal was .

"National Airlines believes there is demand for our unique brand of exclusive service..." |
"Exclusive service at Inclusive prices..." |
Haha!
That reminds me of the s̶t̶u̶d̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶ millennial recently imprisoned in NK, who went there with a tour group whose slogan is "group tours for people who hate group tours". |
Another airline getting into a high volume low yield market...Of course it will work:p

So, this would be "National Airlines," version 3.0. Are the MBA's so void of imagination they can't find new names for airlines anymore?

Southwest was for starters by injecting John Denison in as CEO of ATA. Denison systematically dismantled ATA. Started with ATA Connection, then one leg out from under the table after another. Southwest owns ATA's operating certificate to this day. FedEx ultimately broke ATA's back. Most people don't realize that. FedEx got the ACMI contract pulled from ATA. They shut down immediately. Years later FedEx was sued for being the demise of the airline and FedEx lost the suit. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATA_Airlines |
What certificate are they operating under ? Meaning what old airline ?
