What I find amusing is the fact the most vocal amonst us about GoJets...a now or soon to be unionized airline...are all CAL guys. There is a history there with Continental Airlines and the whole Texas Air, Frank Lorenzo Era. It seems to me that there were alot of CAL guys who were once called SCABS.

How is all that viewed amongst you guys??

I am just asking, as I am not fully versed on the History.

Most CAL guys who scabbed don't talk about it much so I doubt you'll actually get an opinion from them about what is going on. Most of the CAL guys on here don't have any idea what the circumstances were back then so their opinions are usually uneducated and full of foul language. There are definitely some topics on this forum that you may get some good education on, but you'll have to weed through 30 posts to get to it. Unfortunately the Continental scab issue isn't one of them.

I don't think that is the case at all. Only one "CAL pilot" responded to the GoJets issue but to answer your question there are a lot of ****ed off pilots about the whole scab issue at CAL. The non-scab pilots at CAL are probably the most sensitive about this issue because they had to live with it since 83'.

Well SCAB's are a very sensitive issue in the industry, and rightly so. I just have noticed there are a number of CAL guys on this Forum who constantly blast JetBlue, GoJets, Virgin America etc, calling them Scabs. I was just wondering if it is just ultra sensitivity because of CAL's past, or are these individuals just unaware of this past, and think themselves high and mighty because of their position at a "Legacy" carrier. If the Later I think it is kind of Ironic, if the prior than perhaps they should be more educated as to the ACTUAL ALPA definition of what a SCAB is. Per the Webster def that is being througn around we ALL have been or could be considered a SCAB by the very design of ALPA which is vastly different to any other union that I am aware of.

You should do some research because your assumptions are off. I might suggest:
Hard landings
Collision with Collusion

Once you have some history, you might not seem so uniformed. No offense, I was uninformed too, before I went to CAL.

Here is the list of our most junior people in training currently. I took out their names though.

You'll notice the most junior new hire on the system staffing held the 777 in EWR. Unbelievable.

Is there any way of breaking down all these awards based on each class date. Meaning I'm just trying to get an idea of where each of these plane/base awards falls seniority wise within any given class. Thanks in advance!

The 777's basically went junior. I think the 756 went fairly junior in each class that had them also.
