Default United Hogan assessment?

Does anyone have any information on how long it takes to hear back from United HR after completing the initial Hogan assessment? It is my understanding that you will eventually get an email to set up a phone interview. It has been two weeks since the initial email .

Did calling help you move on with their hiring process or did they tell you "don't call us, we'll call you"? BE

They emailed me the next day with the "thanks, but no thanks" email.

I guess I am crazy. With another airline (my #1 choice), I passed two pscyhological assessments and a one-on-one interview with a psychologist.

I have no idea what I did on the UAL test in order for them to not invite me for an interview. The letter told me that I would have to wait 24 months in order to reapply.

I completed the assessment and four business days later I got the e-mail to call them for the phone screening.

It took two days to talk to a person in HR, but I have the phone screening tomorrow morning.

I'm in the same boat as FatBoy. I took the test and got the thanks for playing email within about two days, so maybe no news is good news?

Very friendly lady told me to wait a couple of days but ended up calling me back later that same day to say 'congrats, you are moving on'. I start class soon.

Not sure if it helped calling, but as long as you approach them in a polite way I don't see it hurting your chances.

Good Luck

I don't think that test measures whether or not you are crazy. It measures you personality, and if you meet the parameters that they are looking for you move on. For example, it may rank social skills from 0-100, Risk taking, management skills, etc. I don't know exactly what they are looking for, but I have had to take two test like that with other companies that I have worked for and saw the results. They can get a pretty good idea of they type of person you are from those tests. Maybe now they are looking for more customer service oreinted people as opposed to technical oriented for example...who knows. That test will tell them that.

I am still waiting for the results from the first assessment. I took it a week ago and haven't heard anything.

Took the assessment at night and by the next afternoon had an e-mail to call and set-up a phone screen. Caled on a Friday and set-up for a Monday. That Monday evening had an e-mail to take rest of psych on-line. Took test again at night and by the next afternoon had an e-mail instructing me to phone for an interview date. Process can be quick.

You may want to consider it a compliment...
