Darn. Just upgraded my QC2's to QC15's... Although, he was going to want like $400 for a 3-part system for it, so I don't know.

Anyone wear UFMs in the right seat? Is it a pain having the cord/boom on the left side sitting in the right seat?

Hasn't been an issue for me. I've flown with it since it first came out in the early 2000's. I don't know about the new system but the old one is bullet proof tough and never had a problem with it.

They have a version for the QC 15. I think the most basic one without an adapter for a smartphone is about $270.

Actually no, it is the same mic for the QC2 and QC15's. That's why I upgraded my QC2's. Then Bose got smart and changed the connection on the 25's and 35's.

I just keep it draped around my chest and under my right arm. I don't even know it's there until it comes time to put on my shoulder harnesses and then I have to fish my right shoulder harness under the cord which is no big deal.

The new one is less than $300.

They have an option to get a longer cord for the new one.
