As a side note, speaking about "respect"....
Gets kind of old, and disrespectful, that contractors killed in the "war effort" are simply referred to as "contractors." Reminds me of when a cargo plane crashes and the media reports "no fatalities" because the crew is never counted.
Contractors are and have always made up a large percentage of those supporting the war effort. Not everyone is a mercenary type, making a thousand dollars a day.

Maybe, but who was it that tormented the Khan family?
Amen, brother.
Post reported.
My statement on the subject pales in comparison to those emanating from the future Commander in Chief's Twitter feed. If you object to mine but gloss over the others, well... we have different understandings of the terms "class" and "respect" (as well as "honor", "duty", and a few others).

Was there an updated press release? The story I read the captain asked for everyone to remain seated while a "special military family" was allowed to deplane first. It didn't say that he said anything about a Gold Star Family.

I guess I'd rather wait to hear the rest of the story. You hear these things and it sounds awful, and unbelievable, but usually there is more. Maybe there was only one person being rude (and perhaps the family were wearing Trump t-shirts, or Hillary t-shirts). If the announcement just said "a special military family", as opposed to a Gold star family, how was anyone to know? Maybe people in first class had a tight connection and were waiting for someone to slowly walk up from the back.
I'm not excusing any of it, but I sincerely doubt it was the entire first class section acting like a bunch of jerks towards a family of a deceased soldier, knowingly. There's always more to the story.

The high road should have been taken by the POTUS elect and not even respond, but the Khan family let Hillary push them into the spotlight and be used as a tool. Do you think she gives a fuk?

I don't know if this is just bad reporting, but some of the details of the story seem odd. The father claims that when the captain first made the announcement, there was booing and hissing behind them. Behind them, but he claims this was the first class cabin passengers doing this? If they were sitting in first class, it's unlikely the captain would have made an announcement to hold the passengers at all, because obviously they'd be getting off early anyways.
Always more to the story. I'd like to hear from some first class passengers on that flight.
