Default Gold Star Family

Deepest Respect for the crew letting the Gold Star family off. I couldnt imagine how that man kept his cool with a nut kick like that after the loss of his son.

Just glad I dont have to haul that kind of trash in the back.

"""""The father of an Army soldier killed in Afghanistan says he and his family were booed as they flew to meet his son’s body coming home.

Sgt. John Perry, 30, was killed in a suicide attack at Bagram Airfield on Saturday, along with Pfc. Tyler Iubelt and two American contractors. Stewart Perry told KOVR-TV his son stopped the suicide bomber short of his target and may have saved hundreds of lives.

Perry told the Army Times the booing took place on an American Airlines flight that landed in Phoenix Monday. Perry and his family were flying from Sacramento to Dover Air Force Base.

The captain told everyone to remain seated to let the Perry family leave first to make their connection.....................""""""

Per another article:
They were booed by first class passengers because the flight was held up to allow them to board.

Just watched the video on CNN online. I guess some people in the first class cabin decided to boo when the Captain asked for the Gold Star Family to deplane first. I would have lost my stuff in that situation.

The POTUS-elect has apparently set the standard with how Gold Star families are to be treated.

In the article I read the father involved drew a direct line from how the Khan family was disrespected to this incident.

Hopefully it was an aberration. I'm starting to see a blip of disrespect where it never used to appear.

As a side note, speaking about "respect"....

Gets kind of old, and disrespectful, that contractors killed in the "war effort" are simply referred to as "contractors." Reminds me of when a cargo plane crashes and the media reports "no fatalities" because the crew is never counted.

Contractors are and have always made up a large percentage of those supporting the war effort. Not everyone is a mercenary type, making a thousand dollars a day.

You obviously have a low IQ level, so it's understandable what your position is.
