My Fellow Aviators,

I am extending an open invitation to you, and to all airline pilots, to join me to help protect our future careers and the US Aviation industry by attending the following:

Peter Visclosky represents Indiana’s 1st District (northwest Indiana) in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Pete is having a Town Hall meeting this Monday, January 9th, at 2pm, at the Lake County Public Library in Merrillville, Indiana. Many of us live in that region... so let's put the political process to work.

It's easy - all you need to do is show up 15 minutes early wearing your full winter uniform, look good, and smile. I'll do all the talking.

I already have commitments from pilots with American, Spirit, and United airlines and, hopefully, a few local flight attendants as well.

Regardless of your personal politics, we will be there to publicly THANK Representative Visclosky for his support in helping to protect our jobs and Deny NAI. He will see our faces, hear our voice, and hear a few issues that are important to our careers and livelihood.

In case you were wondering, the Congressman has a long history of supporting organized labor and protecting American jobs in the district, most notably his strong opposition of unfair international trade practices in the steel industry. He was a cosponsored on HR.5090 (NAI), signed the ME3 House Letter, and was one of 108 members of Congress to sign a letter to President Elect Trump, urging him to DenyNAI.
