I feel that if someone has a Note 7, and has ignored all of the recalls, news stories, etc, it's because they really want to keep it, despite the risks. They are not going to raise their hand to a Flight Attendant announcement.

I was assuming we would be hearing these announcements for the next 5 years, we still have to listen to announcements about no smoking.

Can we also end the cruise announcement about the route we're on, because people aren't really excited to hear we're passing Toledo. Also if you're in your seat please keep your seatbelt on, think we can end that one. Or, the we know you have choices one. The flight attendant says it a 1000 times pretty sure we don't need to. How about none I'm tryin to sleep.
