Default John Azma FAA DPE Central Florida

If you ever did flight training in central Florida, like at Delta Connection Academy, Riddle, etc. you know doubt knew or met John Azma. John and a Riddle student died tragically when then plane they were in left wing fell off. I always found John to be really cool and helpful to me as a student pilot way back then.

That really sucks. I don't care how good a pilot you are there's nothing you can do.

I just found out about this. John did my CFI-I ride and I later worked for him for a few months at Phoenix East. My wife and son came by one day and my son became fascinated with an airplane model John had in his office. John gave the model to my son, and he still has it to this day, nearly 20 years later. Very sorry to hear about this. He was a good man.
