Default Doug Stewart

For those of you who flew the bush, you may have had the privilege of knowing him. He flew for Cape Smythe Air Service, Hageland/RAVN, and was on that show Flying Wild Alaska a few years ago. He passed away while hiking the Grand Canyon yesterday. He was a friend and will be missed. Very sad news.

Wow. I was hoping this was a different Doug Stewart! I knew Doug well, even acted in a play with him in Nome. Sad and shocking news.

Very sad news. Doug was an easy going guy, and very easy to be around. Things won’t be the same without him.

I worked with Doug at Cape Smythe.

Very nice, laid back type of guy. Very pleasant to work with.

Really sad to hear this.
