An absolute great father, husband, pilot, gentleman, and a genuinely funny guy. He used to sign the aircraft logs (in a booming voice) SHERMAN T POTTER while signing his own name. I tried that trick for about a year and still couldn't do it. His is a huge loss for aviation, his family, and his friends.
