Capt. Glenn W. Diefenderfer
Glenn was a collegue and friend. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as an A-4 Aviator and I.P. from 1970-1978. Glenn went on to fly for several airlines, including Texas International and I believe he eventually retired from Continental Airlines. He then had a long career with the Federal Aviation Administration, most notably serving as FSB Chairman for the Boeing B-727 and other fleets with the FAA’s Seattle Aircraft Evaluation Group. Capt. Glenn W. Diefenderfer “Flew West” early November 2018 after fiercely battling a tough illness. I will miss you, my good friend. I thank you for all your hard work and dedication to aviation safety.

Glenn Diefenderfer
Sorry to hear the sad news. Dief and I flew together many times back in the day. We were both instructor pilots in the TA-4J in the 70's. He was a superior aviator and a pleasure to work with. Our paths crossed again 30 yrs. later when he was with the FAA and I was with a new start-up cargo airline in Seattle. RIP my friend.
