Default Howard Ashwood

I doubt anyone will know Howard Ashwood but I am honored to have known him.
Howard was my neighbor and passed away this morning at the age of 91.
He went through flight training during WW2 and after that he instructed Chinese students in Arizona after the war. He didn't fly much after that.
He became an engineer for Pratt and Whitney in Newhaven, CT, a career he retired from.
He was a true gentleman, always in a good mood, hard working and sharp as a tack at the age of 91.
The best neighbor one could hope for, I was glad to have taken him flying a while back to check out the fall colors.
He wanted to buy a Piper Cub after that.
So I raise a glass to you Howard, tailwinds all the way my friend.
