was this a B-350 or B-200. God bless them and may they rest in peace

It's a 350...

satpak77 04-28-2013 05:01 PM

Possibly the first ever B-350 fatality in history, civil or mil.

Any idea (generally) what may have happened

WARich 04-28-2013 05:04 PM

No idea....I'm very familiar with the area where it went down...but your guess is as good as mine at this point......very solid aircraft.....loved flying it....

Went through UPT with the pilot in this accident, huge tragedy and a great guy. I guess we'll see what the SIB says. On a good note, I want to publicly acknowledge Chick Fil'A in St. Louis. After the memorial service Squadron mates and family wanted to dine at his favorite resturaunt (this was pre-coordinated just due to the number of people). The restaurant shut its doors to the public and talked with Chick Fil'A headquarters, the bill was covered by the company for everyone there.

Good for them. Think I'll go get a biscuit in the morning. This kind of support rarely gets the recognition it deserves.

Yeah, I went to the service, and the Chickfil'a the next day, and it was really nice of the restaurant to do this for us. The employees were really great to his family.

That's awesome!

It's beyond awesome, it should be the norm throughout this country when we lose our precious warriors. Period.
