Pilot, commissioner Cates dies in air tragedy

"Who's the best pilot you ever saw?" I asked her.

Instead of my usual "Well.....yer lookin' at him", I said, "Well.....there is this guy out in Kansas...."

The finest aviator I ever knew........RIP my friend.
