Whatever dude,
I am pretty laid back. You should just take a few seconds and look at the amount you are posting. It is crazy. Chill out, have a beer and lets just see what happens. I really don't think DALPA is so short sited that it is not looking forward to the next contract and how ALL OF US at that time can profit.

See you around campus....from the sounds of everything on the TV, probably we will all be in the same uniforms by christmas.

All I will say is just because scope prevents it does not mean that they will a) try to get around it, or b) it makes good business sense.

My posting means i am following and paying attention to any details i can get. This is of course our careers we are talking about and its somewhat important. Please dont take anything i post as flamebait, if i post something controversial its usually to bring it to attention. IMHO Scope protection is huge and sure that got me a little bent out of shape. Like i said long term we all are going to do fine, short term is the big unknown.

NWA MEC used to be known as the viper. Why? Because they would strike at anything. I think those days maybe gone and its unfortunate. They don't wanna stand up and fight anymore like they used to.

The deal is done exactly as I posted that it would happen. Delta got some contract improvements in LOA 19 and the merger will proceed in the conventional manor. There is no attempt on the part of DALPA to run NWA as a subsiderary. The scope changes have nothing to do with allowing larger RJ's. Good luck to us all and lets hope the new airline turns out to be a powerhouse!
