30%- 767ER capt

40%- 767ER capt

50%- 737-800 capt

This is what I got from a quick run through the May 1st category list; if there are any inaccuracies, feel free to correct them.
I expected that an NWA guy would post a like document. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

CVG,

It's a little hectic for me here today, but I don't want to leave you out there in the wind. So, I can't do the percentages.

DC-9 FO------------5200
320 FO-------------5100
757 FO-------------5100
747 SO-------------5200
330 FO-------------3700
747-200 FO---------3500
747-400 FO---------3700
DC-9 CA------------4100
320 CA-------------3200
757 CA-------------2400
330 CA-------------1100
747-200 CA--------1100
747-400 CA---------700

The positions are in order of payrate.

Yes, 747 SO's are paid more than 757 FO's

Its a start.

Thanks for the info! Are these numbers for reserves or block holders?

Look how far off the bottom you have to be to hold you equivalent seat (7ER - A330) now though. (and for less money)(and bottom reserve)

I told you there was a different mindset over here. International flying is king. Or, should I say "premium."

Maybe this is too much to ask, but why can't both MEC's publish a seniority list based on their respective last offer. I.E. D1,N2,D3,D4, etc. At least we, the line guy, would know what was truly the last offer and would put an end to rumors, speculation and "reliable source" . Hope this makes sense!

"Premium", nice one.

It's king here too, it's just that NYC is pretty junior because most don't want to deal with that commute

-and-

there's a crapload more of it to go around.

Look at these 2 route maps:

I'm going to suggest this one more time at the risk of riddicule. But, at NWA the 757 is very much like the widebody flying that you do at DAL. You can wind up in Europe, Hawaii, or Asia.

But now I realize that you guys are more concerned with pay and not type of flying.

As you can see from our list, all widebody NWA pilots can hold a higher paying position. (Ok, close. -400 pay is pretty much the same as DC-9 Capt. pay) But, once they get on the 330 or 747, they are hooked.

I think part of the culture here comes as a direct result of the Republic merger. After seeing all the friction go on for years and years, I think we value seniority above everything. All we've heard and seen since we have ben here is stories about Red Book guys flying left seat with Green book pilots as their FO's that were senior to them. (Seen it. Not pretty.)

Maybe that's the problem with merging our groups. We have different priorities.

New K Now
