787's going away?

It was. Had to deal with people with hire dates in 01 being junior to ones hired in 07.
Basically both lists will be rationalized for the argument.
We are down to less than two months before we all know our fate one way or another.
What will be our next topic once this comes to pass??

No slip ups my friend. No one knows the length and height (so to speak) of the fences. Anything at this point from ANYONE is simply a guess. That was my point.

For these purposes I am defining International as CONUS to Europe/SA/Latin America south of Mexico and Tokyo to south of Tokyo. Not sure if DL considers HNL to be an international flight.
So how does an arbitrator integrate a NW 757A? Do they get grouped with 767ERs at DL?

That would up to them.
Rationalizing the lists means nothing for bidding or what you are flying. It basically matches seniority up to positions as they are listed in the PWA. IE 744 A is the most senior position, so they put the top guys on it. It is just a metric in which to show what you would be flying if each and every person bid the highest possible seat they could hold. It gets rid of you fear that some 07 DAL wide body FO would be senior to you. The only way that happens is if he is senior to you on the rationalized list.
It could get interesting as there are about 60 or so 07 hires that using the rationalized list are 73N FO's. If they do a ratio based on equipment some thing may happen like this at the bottom of the list. Lets see what is negotiated or arbitrated. We will know in six weeks or so.

All things aside, thank you DAL for getting my tail out of the hands of NWA! I am proud to come over. I thank you as much for the huge increase in QOL, pay and outlook as hopefully you do for those lucrative Asian routes. I absolutely refuse to let this thing go sour, I'll quit before I show up and be miserable for the next 28 years. Many thanks! First round on me.
P.S. We need to focus on cabotage and scope for crying out loud...

The people that are bound to be dissapointed, torqued off, jumping off cliffs etc., are the ones that are shooting for the moon (not you, Moon Shot) or think there's only one way to do the SLI. Here's to hoping it turns out as well as possible for all of us.

Although, I do plan on jumping off cliffs if my ending seniority number is compromised...
