I think that would probably sell. But not minus 7 to 9% as happens in parts of the DAL proposal.

True

Pure speculation on your part and many other DAL guys.

Pure speculation...especially in this economy.

They might offset if they were all true.

I actually do if that is what DALPA proposed. Instead it is relative position minus 2% for me and minus 9% for NWA guys near the bottom. It's not plus anything for any NWA guy.

Carl,

The 6 777LR's are coming starting in Dec, all 6 here by the end of March (delayed somewhat by the strike) don't know the exact dates for the -700's but they are firm as well. At a linecheck meeting last week, it was stated that the freighters are all gone by the end of '09 and the 74-400's will be gone by 2010! It was answered in the context if any Delta pilots would fly the 74 and this was the answer. So you can see, if this is true, this would highly disadvantage Delta pilots in the SLI

I'll grant you that last part is highly speculative, but the aircraft delivery's are solid. I bet the freighters are gone soon though.

Yes, and RA will not even hint at doing any hiring or whatnot until after DCC.

Yes, we are looking at 2010 for the departure of the 744 and DC-9's. This is part of DAL's fleet plan assuming the merger is completed. They are giving us the answers here in Georgia and that is why there needs to be protection for the bottom of the list. I know you do not like it, but as of today these are the facts.

Of course it is speculative. It cannot be official, yet....

Question

What do you think they would replace the -400 with at that time?

this wasn't a defense, it was a question?

If you guys think that the 9 pilots should be stapled because it is smaller, than the 747 slots should be on top because of it's size.

It can't be a "Super Secret Probationary Hearing" if I was there to defend the frat and you are confusing it with "Double Secret Probation" that we were on.

fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son...

Carl,

I'm glad you see things my way!!! I'd hate to have to pull out my .357, .45, .38, and .22 to show you the error of your ways!!!!!!!!

That is a classic scene and, along with many others, is why I chose this "screen name." This is the first character I've seen since the original Star Trek that I've enjoyed watching Shatner in. IMO he owns Boston Legal.
