It was moved to "No later than Dec 20th" not necessarily Dec 20th.

Yeah, why?

Did the merger committees accept the offer of mediation? Only reason I can think of off the top of my pointy head. Wouldn't BOTH merger committees have to approve?

Interesting to say the least..........

Both merger commitees approved the extension. It was requested by the arbitration panel. In the original framework this provision of an extension was there, and I assume the panel hopes that a negotiated list will result if they wait to issue their ruling. I was hoping to be done with this by the Nov 20th, now it looks like a month longer.

I believe the original agreement was for the SL to be out by Nov. 20 but the written justification by the arbitrators didn't have to accompany it. It could be delivered as late as Dec 20th. If this has changed, it's news to me. Thanks

That is correct. I would actually be surprised to see a decision by 20 Dec. I suspect the arbitrators will request another extension. Which side would say no when the arbitrators ask for it?
