The DL livery and the Midfield Terminal dont match quite like NW's colors do. I'm sure the Delta guys are thrilled to see a 747-400 in DL colors, but i dont really share the enthusiasm. lol

That lone DL 747 at DTW looks like a guy who showed up in a tanktop and overalls to a wedding where everyone was dressed in suits and ties. haha

--Yeah, he's a big 'ole boy awright, an' they'd need a big 'ole spitoon at that weddin' for 'em too! Actually, in the first picture, I'm amazed you can see the wings and nacelles of the A320 from inside the cockpit! I've never seen that on the airplanes I've flown (at Delta)...727, L1011, 76/757....an amazing phenomenon!

Actually, I think the NW gray matches the DTW sky (9 months of the year) better.

You can see them just fine on the 73.

so wait, is it flown right now in Delta paint by Northwest pilots using a Northwest callsign? If so... funny!

Yep, and it will look great with all of that snow and grime all over it.
I was hoping we could go with the NWA silver for the body of all of our jets. That with the DAL tail and it would have looked quite good!

Actually, I think it looks the other way around. Like DAL is wearing a tuxedo and all NWA wore was a dress shirt with no tie. :D

Well, there is an awful lot of bland white on the 74.
