One quarter does not make UAL a success story. Makes you wonder how they would look if company wide they had CAL's pay rates. Lets look at the fleets also..sooner or later you are really going to have to buy some real airplanes can't just keep repainting them.

Yeah, that $193/hr your making flying the 777 is WAAAY higher than UAL's pos bankruptcy wage of $190. (not even factoring in the 16% B fund contribution). And we can look at the fleets all you want. I esp like the 52 777's and 26 400's. Not "real" enough for ya? How about the 50 787/A350 orders? They come pre-painted. I don't know why I even bothered. I feel cheap sinking to your sophomore level.

route structure that DAL can't touch and the eventual AA/LCC will be a distant 3rd. Profits of late have been subsidized by labor..........in fact they always have after deregulation....the future needs to change and thus future expectations and career security might become a reality. For that to happen 2 pilot groups need to bury their differences, join together and pull on the same end of the rope.
Off to class so maybe I can move up to senior level.
