It would have to be if AA is broken up, then it's very possible

Trying to get my head around this.
When exclusivity is over Mar 11 does the bidding start or can the UCC simply take the LCC deal thereby passing on a possible greater return to the bottom line?

Heard Delta passed on anything with America due to suspected integration issues.

It's not gonna happen. Delta's trying to prevent the AA and US merger or just make it a lot more expensive.

I think we have seen the last of the major mergers. We may see acquisitions of smaller airlines in the next few year, even just for their pilots. I would not be surprised that the three major players will be fighting to buy out the smaller fish in 7 to 10 years.

not gonna happen. back to regular programming. Probably some investment groups who already own AMR stock who are trying to stimulate "chatter" and run the price up so they can dump shares.

back to regular programming....
