Airnet is buying FedEx.
I heard it from a friend who heard it from a nephew's cousin's neighbor's second ex wife's three thumbed daughter who heard it from her Chihuahua who got the info in a bowl of Alphabits.
Yep. It's happening.

Atlas bought polar so I wouldn't be surprised if Atlas or Kalitta buy another cargo carrier. FEDEX took over Flying Tigers and Southern took over Cargo 360 so maybe another round awaits us.

Who is ATSG?
Before the United/CAL merger, we heard United wanted cargo 747's to compete with Northwest. But that never came to pass. Lots of BS rumors that never come true.
I wouldn't be surprised if smaller operators are taken over by larger ones. The question is, will it happen?
