I've heard rumblings of this on the Trans States side. And some friends at Gojet are definitely hearing rumors as well. It makes sense from HE'S perspective. I just hope I'm not there for the blood bath!

I've also heard rumors that HK could sell our entire seniority list to a company like Skywest who needs pilots. He's old enough, that I'm sure he'd consider that for the right price. That's even less palatable than a trans states/gojet merger...

these regionals are fighting over us pawns right now. they could just buy us via buying another regional and it solves their problems. There's no pilot shortage otherwise there wouldn't be any pilots sitting reserve anywhere because we'd all be flying at maximum capacity. But instead thousands are sitting around twittling their thumbs because there regional has done a poor job running there company and has either lost contracts, run off their pilots, or has their costs so high they can't be aggressive in getting new business

Default Merger and Acquisition

If merger is required, then this process has to be taken. If any pilot is against it for his vested interest then doors are always open for his exit. This process is for the benefit of the company and not for any individual benefit. In case any company is facing problem in the merger process, M&A advisors are always there to help them in the process. I am also in the process of merging my factory with my known's factory and it seems to me one of the most difficult processes and I have handed this process to Investmentbank M&A advisors.

Default Regionals will fade

I don't think there will be any regional mergers. Some will shrink and others will fade away. Someone else said mergers are a pipe dream but that's a 💩 dream. Large regional airlines no longer existing and mainline flying E-jets, C Series, and CRJ next gen is my dream. Maybe a few Q-400's will be flown by regional airlines on the ultra short hops but that's it.

Just got back from a 5 day trip. During said trip, I ran into alot of senior captains in the company I work for. The latest rumor is that Delta bought the CRJ side of XJT. After the fact that the VP of XJT announced that by the end of the year the fleet on both side (CRJ and ERJ) will be halved. In passing conversation I asked the captains about the fate of the approximate 350 CRJ pilots and their response was that the company hopes that most will leave before they have to furlough. I also heard that there is a possibility that XJT CRJ side will probably merge with Endeavor.
I am just stating the rumors I heard. None of the above is to be taken as the 10 commandments that may have come down from Mt Sina

More pilots have been saying Republic/TSA/GoJet/Compass merger, than just TSA/Republic.
