Mesa TA Passes

I just wanted to say congratulations fellow Mesa pilots for passing this TA...

Congratulations for having Stockholm syndrome with the company... I know, they beat us with a stick daily, but hey they offered a band-aid so they ain't so bad, right?

Congratulations for perpetuating Mesa being the laughing stock of the regionals.

Congratulations for voting in a TA that will pay us in 5 years what Republic pilots make now.

Mesa pilots - we all deserve what we are going to get with this contract. That's why if you're smart you leave Mesa, because the idiots left behind always vote in contracts like these.

I am so happy that my departure from this P.O.S. airline is coming soon.

82.08%, or 761, of 943 eligible pilots voted.
58%, or 445 voted in favor of the tentative agreement.
42%, or 316 voted against the tentative agreement.

  :(

Pilots are their own worst enemy. Can we make Flying the Line mandatory reading again?

Well, it's none of my business anymore. Glad I left when I did.

Congratulations for voting in the worst contract in the industry. We should all be very proud.

I voted no I honestly did. My best friend use to be the treasurer at Mesa for Alpa and he said the contract was crap too. But he also said Mesa seriously had no money when he was here 3 years ago. I wander if it didn't pass where more money would come from? Would United and AA give more you think? I didn't want it simply cause we are still under everyone in pay!! I am so embarrassed I don't wear my wings and keep my badge turned around so no one knows who I work for...

I'm surprised it passed. I didn't think it had a chance. Then again, some things never change. I remember when Mesa pilots carried boards to sleep on in the plane during continuous duty overnights. Mesa has always been a trailblazer in setting new lows and bringing everyone else down. Hopefully this contract just brings Mesa down because no one else wants to work there.

I am a former Mesa pilot and I am glad I got out when I did. Although it would have been nice getting 300% for flying. It is interesting to me the time I was at Mesa JO kept saying they had no money and he would not put the airline in trouble by paying pilot a penny more. Now he is going to pay more so were is the money come from or were is the money now for the engines which are due? Looks like a Republic move. Bankrupcy by the end of summer!

To the spineless Yes voters

Thank you very much!

Now go 'blank' yourselves.

While I'll admit that it's possible the results are accurate, I can count on one hand how many people I spoke to who told me they would vote 'yes.' Nearly everyone I spoke wasn't just a 'no' - they were a 'HELL no'.'

So what gives? Is it time to get an attorney and challenge the vote results? I might be wrong here, but I smell a rat - a big one.

Several pilots coming together, finding a really good attorney and filing a class-action suit against ALPA for misrepresentation is long overdue.

Maybe now is the time?
