If you’re still in time building mode, then Mesa is a good choice. Generally, at some point you might get tired of building time, and then you’ll perhaps regret going somewhere else where you have more time off. Of course, you can always go someplace else any time you want....

I'd heard some not so good things about Envoy (to a previous comment) but I understand pilot forums are not the total reflection of the company. But still gives pause. My understanding is that you "could" go somewhere else after 4 years via the United Airlines Career Path Program. Is flow to them still between 6-10 years? |

I am definitely in the time-building mode, so I think between that and domicile, Mesa works out best.

CPP is unfortunately if you fly the United side. Or if you don't then the last 12 months of flying for Mesa would need to be on the United side I believe.

Correct DFW pilots aren’t in the program.

The United CPP program doesn't work well. Mesa and United purposely keep info guarded on the program. The last group (or the one before) did better than the previous groups, but still overall not many are getting through to United. Just remember, it's a marketing tool to get pilots to come to Mesa, not ever meant to actually help pilots move on to United. So yes, if you stick to the United side you might after interviewing through the process go to United, but percentage wise there is a much better chance you won't.
