Min guarantee, no per diem. You will not go faster than scheduled. You will go straight from indoc to systems so no delay for the CPT class. CRJs are moving faster than Jungle Jets due to backed up sims.

Nope I had plenty of experience and was not looking for cruise control or to fly through it. I soaked up everything I could and actually learned a thing or two still learning two years later even though I'm trying to escape training was good. I'm ready for upgrade just polishing up on the GOM stuff. You will be fine. Since you're experienced, help out anyone who is struggling. I went to a few of my buddies Sim sessions with them to watch. If they were struggling I just did the good ole chair fly with them. Good luck. Where you going to be based.

All you need to do is look at what United and SkyWest is doing to their CRJ pilots to know the future. CRJ is being gradually phased out in West Coast bases, with line holders getting reserve. I can’t imagine that IAD is far behind.

The training timeline is kind of a moving target right now.
You can expect the following:
Get there (PHX) on a Tues. Wed and Thurs, @ 7-3 for drug testing, welcome and that kind of crap. Expect to get briefs on things you don't even understand about 121 aviation.
Fri and Sat there is a training class to bring people up to speed on jet aviation.
Mon-Sat is Indoc week.
After that, you may have to wait for a systems class to start. Maybe a week or 2.
Systems class is 2.5 weeks.
After that, you should have a procedure trainer for a week.
Then Sims for about 10 days.
A few odds and ends and then IOE for at least 25 hours.
There may be breaks between each of them based on sim availability or instructor availability. This is a big ballpark.

People go home at breaks unless they are studying (for a test or an oral). IOE has to be where a training captain is and a jet and paying passengers - most likely your base.
