And, you have considered Envoy and Republic?

I've got an interview on Monday... trying to figure out the pros/cons of CRJ vs EJet. DFW and IAH are both easily commutable. Seems to me that two perks of the CRJ are travel privileges on both AA & United, and shorter training timeline. What about upgrades? Anything I'm missing? Besides SJS and those beautiful wing-mounted engines Thanks!

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
I also understand the CRJ training is faster but I live much closer to Houston than Dallas, so I think at the end of the day Houston is the better option for me personally.

Can you speak to how "behind" the training is? I did the Skype interview last week (best interview ever - I wasn't even wearing pants!!) and was offered E175/IAH with a June 13 class date.
Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

You will love the Ejet. The QOL is much better than those flying the CRJ.

3 months ago, they were 8 months from DOH to IOE. This month, they were 6 months from DOH to IOE. They put 35 new FO’s on the line in an effort to catch up. I suspect they will be back down to around 4 months soon.

The Ejet does longer legs and you are able to squeeze more flying into fewer days. Here are some of the trips: IAH to BOI. IAH to DCA. IAH to BZN. IAH to YYZ. I wish we had more 28-hour, 4-days. But, if you are senior, 3 4-day pairings can be a min credit award.
The Ejet is broke less, fewer MELs, less waiting for maintenance.
The Ejet is more automated, like Airbus and Boeing aircraft. This can be more challenging if technology challenged. But, the automation helps with fatigue. I believe it helps prepare one for moving on to the majors.

If they say that about the 175, it would be interesting what they say about the CRJ variations.
