Default JO is cashing out!

By now, everyone has seen the news of the IPO for Mesa. This IPO is JO and Mesa’s private investors cashing out.

At least there will be transparency regarding with the financials and business operations going forward.

Still new to this. Is this a good thing or bad thing for a potential new hire? I'm getting ready to send my application in. Does this have any impact on pilot hiring? I appreciate your insight throughout this forum. It seems you're always on top of things and in the know (Calmwinds)

I wouldn't worry about it from a new hire perspective. It doesn't mean we are going out of business tomorrow. It just means our CEO is going about to get rich on the backs of his employees.

Here is the filing for those less adept at navigating the SEC website:

I honestly have no idea what is worse; JO or stock holders? You guys will get squeezed by either to maximize profits.

We can be taken over if we are a public company.... that is a positive.

It’s probably better it’ll keep JO from trying another solo China or Hawaii adventure.

Reading through that IPO info, what struck me is how JO is in a hurry to get this done before he has to show his figures for Sept 2018, the next fiscal year. That should arouse suspicion from any investors with a brain.

Maybe there’s a bigger picture, and this is just a necessary piece of the puzzle. Perhaps some consolidation is coming. But maybe not.
