Should get it right out of training.

That’s not true. SDF is based at 9 pilots per seat. And both seats are full. Short of someone leaving there are no vacentcies in SDF

As in 9 CA and 9 FO? What’s the point of that? Republic has 23 of each in IAH, that’s the smallest base I’ve heard of anywhere.

I believe the thought is that a maintenance base could serve as a crew base. It is 10 CA and 20 FO. The most junior CA is 4/2018. The most junior FO is 7/2018. It really doesn’t make sense to me either.

So, basically it would depend on those First Officers getting promoted out?

Or, maybe, there weren’t enough Captains that bid into the base. So, Mesa needs the First Officers who want to be there to build sufficient time to upgrade....

So, what’s YOUR point? And who cares what Republic has or where? You can park one airplane on any ramp anywhere in the world and call it a base.

Updated SDF FO?

Looking at SDF. Has anything changed regarding how long to hold a line out of training? What about DFW?
