Default Overnights At Home

KELP is my home airport, and most flights are Mesa (from PHX, DFW, and IAH). Are there Mesa pilots who successfully bid for and get overnights at home?

Second, has the Mesa hotel situation improved somewhat?

Thx.

You can probably get a good amount of overnights there but the overnights in the CRJ from my experience aren’t long. And not really I heard they just renewed the trash hotel in ABQ we probably have the worst hotels in the regionals at least in our AA system.

People *****ing about the hotels need to fill out the complaint form. Hotels have improved as a result of that feedback. See something - say something.

Bidding is seniority based. You can get what you can hold. I bid overnights where I commute from and I get about 1 a month. But I have particular days off I want and there are about 2 a month that meet that criteria - so is it possible? Yes.
