CRJ Upgrade

Hello all. I had heard the training dept. was in disarray. Does anybody have any recent gouge about CRJ upgrade training? What's the pass rate? I'm trying to decide if I should bother to try if things are still screwed up, and how badly that would look to a future employer if they screw you around, and you don't make it. Of course I'd study hard (already am) to get through. Thanks for the info.

I haven’t heard that training is screwed up at all on the CRJ side. Of course, with street captain programs at the American wholly owned airlines and at SkyWest on the CRJ, I would hestitate about upgrading at Mesa.

How did you do with initial and your AQP? Are you barely getting by? Or, are you very prepared?

Why hesitate? I’m waiting until I have at least a few below me so I can hold a decent reserve schedule. Looks like you need to be 600 or so to hold a line in Dfw and that’s gonna take about a year. There is movement at the top for the first time in a long time. Interesting though who took the ca to ca transfers.

Since CPP kicked in, you are seeing pilots switching to IAD. Hopefully, that isn’t short lived.
