Default Joining Mesa with >1200 Part 121?

Where could I be based, what equipment, and upgrade time to CA.

I've got >1200 hrs SIC Part 121 jet.

Thanks.

Well, any base as of right now besides IAD. The standing bid just posted doesn’t look like FOs or CAs are needed there. Currently, DFW and PHX are your best bets. Upgrade time is based on seniority. There were people who upgraded in a few months. May I ask where you’re coming from?

Not enough FO's with the hours to upgrade? This is a situation I'm looking for if I don't go for a direct entry CA spot with another carrier.

IAH is my number one choice for base as I'm in Louisiana and it's an easy commute.

A lot of our senior FOs are waiting until they can hold a line as Captain before upgrading. Reserve here is miserable ready reserve every day. If you live in base near the airport is the only way I would recommend doing it.

So with my times, would I be able to upgrade pretty quickly?
