I know this is gonna sound basic but it’s given that date because that’s the date it was issued.

Just saw on Mesa's Facebook recruiting page that they're hiring 20 street CA's into the E175 and CRJ900.

Wow. News to me. We need them badly. They need to be on reserve .... I mean online by May 1. Crj anyway.

Yeah, first time I check out their Facebook recruitment page, post was 20 minutes old. $30k sign on bonus for either.

Was kinda shocked, so I called the recruiter I have been talking to and she confirmed it. I probably wouldn't or shouldn't qualify for it due to my lack of currency, but still an interesting development.

Well, since you guys voted in a contract that didn't sufficiently address reserve rules, can't feel bad for the guys refusing upgrade over it and hiring street CA's. My advice to you is to suck it up, take the first available upgrade slot and stop delaying your exit. Get on with it. Some tough love.

That's good advice at every regional, not just Mesa. Get in, update your apps constantly, and get out as soon as a you can to a major or better job.
