First time I parked there a couple weeks ago, I just drove through a gate that was already up and pulled up to the guard shack to ask him about getting my badge programmed. He told me that the Mesa badges don’t work, and to just pull up to either of the first two gates in front of the shack and flash your lights at them and they will open it. Then drive by the shack and show them your badge. That’s what I’ve been doing.

Yep. Just wave your badge. Then flash your lights a few times. Then gently tap your horn. Then honk it a little more. Then lay on it. Then just set your car on fire or whatever it takes to wake up the guard and then, baddabing, just drive right in. Don’t forget to drive by the guard shack so they can get a closer look at your badge and give you a friendly smile and a courteous wave. Friendly skies and whatnot.

Try this, take your badge off your lanyard and swipe it in backwards (I.E. the badge clip hole in first. Magnetic strip up and on the right side). It should open if you do it this way. Not ideal but it is what it is. When they gave us new ID badges a few years ago, they moved the magnetic strip from the right side to the left side. I think the card readers only are able to read the magnetic strips from the right side.

Just downloaded the app. It appears there’s 10 E buses and 2 B buses. WTH?

You are better off taking the E bus, going through KCM and sky train to B. I don’t even try taking the B bus
