First I’m not a little fella my scale can tell you that. Second you call it naive I call it just reading things for what they are. The people on here like you can’t stand it when people don’t post negative things about Mesa. Im sure you and others are sitting there looking at you little crystal balls and can tell that this isn’t going to work out. As for guys like me we will continue to read the articles and press releases that are put out and yes maybe in the end it won’t work out but for now it looks to be a step in a good direction to get talks going on a possible order for some new jets and types of flying to be had at Mesa in the future.

I thought they did, due to scope issues? Maybe that's resolved with spacejet.

Looks a lot more comfortable and advanced than the E170/75. Probably a nice upgrade (if it happens) for the Mesa lifers...

Can’t be any worse than the 175. Even the 145 handles turbulence better.

I’m gonna take a guess here, AA just announced that they are done buying planes for the foreseeable future (including for their regionals) on account of how much they’ve spent in the last decade and their debt to asset ratio is abysmal. Therefore any future additional regional flying will have to be done by a regional that can bring their own fleet of aircraft to the table, keep in mind big daddy AAG is done shelling out money. This sounds like MESA is trying to position themselves to sell that very point to big broke daddy AAG.

That’s very reaching. Not to mention AAG is looking to dump the Mesa CRJ flying that they have now.

YX has 100 aircraft on order, with the first to be delivered next year. I think we’ll have the ability to win an AA contract over YV’s SpaceJet dream, especially considering 2024 is the EARLIEST delivery date.
