My understanding is you can sell the orders and options down the road for a profit.

Or we could be trying to stand on our own as an airline since mainline pulling back there flying

Wonder if Mesa is attempting to use the 2024 MRJ deliveries as bait for UAL/AA to sign long term deals.

Looks like Mesa management has SJS.. how about worrying about the contract that expired 5 days ago and not some fantasy airline game.

You guys know this is a clean sheet design right? If you want you can have the model of the MRJ in the lobby of TSH headquarters that has been gathering dust since we were supposed to have them in 2014. Good luck you probably won't see them until 2034 at best......:eek::eek:

What orders?
Seems like some badly needed press from from Mitsubishi trying to launch a new airframe, and Mesa trying to project a bright future for employees.

Has anyone seen something like this before? A big signing event at a convention, with press releases...all to announce that they agree to negotiate together about potentially buying an airplane.

Either buy it or don't. Shut up until you do.

This specific clean sheet design smells like a 900 with different stickers on it...

2034 if you're lucky. OO had 100 MRJ's on order for many years... finally just cancelled that when it became obvious hour badly MHI had miscalculated on scope relief.
