Didn't know what was causing it. A week later I asked one of the mechanics about it, he said it turned out to be a damaged rib. This was back when we had the CLT base.

Just to confirm. You’re anecdotally taking one experience and broadly painting the rest of the canvas? Also, what seat were you? Was this a revenue flight?

I'll let you use logic and answer your own question.

I’d prefer not to make assumptions.

It’s good not to assume, but perhaps this requires no assumptions? The facts are clearly set forth. The reference is to what seems to be a post-maintenance test flights NOT under Part 121. Is this not clear to everyone, or am I way off...?

Who would take an aircraft with a reported vibration — for which there is presumably an open (unresolved) write-up—up on a revenue flight with pax?

Maybe I’m missing something...?

As a former maintenance pilot on a completely different platform I see nothing wrong with this. And certainly wouldn’t give the notion of “test pilot” to anyone. I just wanted to confirm a couple things is all. Also, if people would write things up better than an “aircraft vibration” a lot can be fixed before a Mx flight.

Mesa’s a good place to build time and experience. There can be quick upgrades and when they’re paying 300% the money can be good.

My opinion the training department has gone south a bit, when I was a new hire there were no egos there and they wanted motivated folks to succeed. Now there are some large egos and less training and more “rote learning”. Just my humble opinion.

Best thing about Mesa: the folks you’ll work with. Good luck whatever you choose
