That’s a ridiculous line of thought. “Hey guys, masks don’t really work in the medical, scientific sense that we’ve been hoodwinking the American public. But they DO work by generating positive-touchy-feel good vibes!”

The confidences, however false, that are inspired filter to the traveling public may be the very thing that save your sorry ass job.

My sorry ass job??? Why do I get the feeling you’re not even one of us? I’ve enjoyed my time here at Mesa so far, even with all this madness going on. OUR jobs wouldn’t be in jeopardy if certain parties hadn’t instilled a panic in the first place and to add insult to injury, now expect us to go along with “false confidences”. STOP THE LIES.

It is in jeopardy now whether you like it or not.

Put your mask on. Sometimes you have to fight lies with lies.

June parings

It looks like there are only 132 pairings for June and around 1100 hours of flying. According to my calculations, only the top 20 pilots will get a line and around 125 pilots will be on reserve.

Based on DFW pairings

Hard to say, loads down 92%, and I've heard people say they won't fly until airlines quit requiring a mask.

Now that we're all wearing mask, the event won't be "over" until the mask go away.

Mandatory masks "inspire confidence" the same way that requiring everyone wear parachutes would.

Won't fly if I have to wear a mask? I remember when people were saying they wouldn't drive if seatbelts became mandatory.

Hot air

"It must not be safe, they're making you wear a mask, I'l wait until it's safe again"

Kinda like when crew hollers out coming off the jet bridge " IT'S A GOOD AIRPLANE", and the guy standing at the gate is like WTF it better be a good airplane. Or "NOTHING WRONG WITH IT", and their like, umm was that a question?

Are high schools with metal detectors safer, and nightclubs with TSA wands and pat downs safer?
