Oh I’m watching. I’m a phx fo..If people below me get furloughed..I go to reserve..or worse..another base. I then displace someone in dfw and so on. I’m not going to vote to do that to myself..or to others. 200-400 or whatever you want to call it will disrupt everyone except those at the absolute top. The captain downgrades..totally screwed. People displaced from their base..totally screwed. Voting yes. Unequivocally.

No. Im a data analyst. To get to 400 active pilots you have to furlough 450 or so. I just did my own figuring to see if the numbers made sense.

The AA side of the house is down. It impacts the furlough level even on the UA side.

DFW is down almost 80 pairings.

201 vs 275 4 day pairings.

Overall at the entire airline flying is down 25 pct vs last month. Vote yes.

I can’t see the mix of pairings but how many pairing days do you have vs last month? The ejet increasing won’t change furloughs. It does change the displacement requirements though.

The company will do this in chunks. Their email said 490 by the first. They can initially furlough a small amount without triggering WARN or displacements.

Pangolin, if the flying tanks, like you predict, there is no other way than to furlough.

Company can do whatever is in THEIR BEST INTEREST. Regardless of your or my opinion.

"Stealing" 8 hours from my contractual negotiated pay IS in their best interest!

Having people like you agreeing to that action shows them how weak we are. This is only the beginning.

Good luck with 68 hours min credit followed by furloughs and YOUR downgrade come January. FO pay sucks, 68 hours on FO pay sucks much more.

Stay Strong. NO Concessions.

Too each his own, but if you can hold a line in PHX as an FO, why didn’t you upgrade? Don’t really need the money right?

"Mesa expects to receive a total of $92.5 million in connection with the Payroll Support Program under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) covering the period April through September 2020. In April Mesa received $30.8 million under the program and expects to receive $15.4 each month from June through September."

Mesa reported over 3 millions in net income, where most other airlines reported tremendous losses.

Those earnings were achieved with 30 millions cares act support. Mesa is about to report another quarter. Expect to see even greater net income, as 61 million cares act payroll support will be added to that quarter. Flying HAS way increased compared to the previous quarter.

Mesa CAN NOT FURLOUGH unless the cares act money is depleted.

Vote NO!!!

PBS is publishing predicted hours flown, per base. Unfortunately, those numbers weren't included last month.

Looking at the credit values, I would bet that they are up.

546 pairings out of 789 have 4 hours or greater average credit. That is what you need to be able to have a 76 hour line on a 30 days bid.

October has 31 days, so only 3.8 average is needed. 603 pairings have 3.8 or greater credit

Those are pretty efficient lines I would think.
