How about “contract labor”, or “hourly paid heavy equipment operators”? Would that be better?

I’m hearing 70 seats not 50, and that’s why UA is also paying for it?

hahahahaha I mean whatever makes you happy, I don’t think it’s degrading to be a “driver” I just think it’s nerdy af. It makes me feel like that kind of person has a license plate frame that says my other car is an airplane. Just trying to say hey, don’t be a tool brah.
Regarding the investor call, yes I’m aware of what was said. You’ll see when it starts rolling, the plan will take care of itself. I can’t get into the details here but it is a solid relationship with DHL and not one in which we are pigeons picking up crumbs. There’s no reason to argue any of these points though, right now it really just doesn’t matter - we’ll all see what the future brings. I hope everyone and their families weather this storm as well as possible whoever you work for and whatever you drive. Lololol (both in the air and on the ground)

I was cracking a joke, and there definitely isn’t a shortage of nerdy people in this line of work. The vast majority of us think that despite all of the big swings between the ups and downs, it’s still a pretty good job. The few that wear their full uniform into the grocery store hoping that someone ask them if they’re a pilot, or the 737CAPT vanity plate on their car are just an endless source of entertainment. Good luck with the freight deal. There is no telling what the legacy/regional mix is going to look like after all of this is over and having some type of diversified flying could be a big plus if the legacy companies start shifting puzzle pieces around again.
