It’s almost as dumb as the thread titled Mesa issues WARN notices. Honestly in my short time here at hotel APC the whole place is silly. Like we’re grown adults y’all 😂😂😂
some of these people need to actually have a real world job that you went to college for and for real sucks

for sure, I mean we don’t even have to be adults on here but good Lord if the generalpublic knew how much pxxxing and moaning goes on amongst pilots they’d vom. It’s not that bad heroes. Go fly a desk or sweat or be in charge of something that’s not an airplane for a minute. Life is not that bad. And if it is it probably isn’t for you.

This behavior is part of the human psyche. We’ve mostly all had other jobs. You could reference “hedonic adaptation “

You get credit hours on top of guarantee for ready reserve?

Not on top but credit toward it and you can easily exceed it on reserve.

also the best thing about Mesa reserve is CMF/CML
Up until Covid the least I credited sitting reserve was 98 hours. Admittedly with the Covid reductions I’m back to mostly min credit on reserve. But you can work this system (in normal times) to beat the min. I could credit more on reserve than with a line. Especially in IAD. DFW as well.

it’s the same thing at ZW, RR gets the 1:2 duty rig while sitting ready, if they get used they almost always go over mins

I’ve been on reserve for a little over a year now since upgrading and I went over min guarantee every single month until April. It really isn’t hard to get over min guarantee on reserve except for new hire FO’s because apparently we are quite fat on them right now.

Best month while on Reserve as a CA.. 158 hours credit in Jan 2020. Worst month .. maybe 110? Granted I was rarely home, but it can be (could be) done.
