Guess I violated terms of use already. My comments have to go through a moderator now. People are also losing their medicals

Random question. How many of the airplanes that Mesa operates do they own?

Own, or own the leases on all of the CRJ’s. And own the leases on all but the latest 20 EJTS and I believe a dozen or so others. Ejet guys can give you a better idea on that. But bottom line is Mesa controls the vast majority of its fleet. It’s not a staffing company. Or one surviving off of its big pocket business daddy that can pull the plug at anytime.

If anyone wants to talk in person about the potential of this contract extension, I don’t work much, but when I do I’m posted next the Chucks office playing video games

Dude
He is one you don’t want to mess with. If you do there’ll be hell to pay.

I envision a baby shark biting you. Then you bite back, biting its head off. Just my vision. . .

42 of the original 60 ejets are owned by United and leased to Mesa “at a nominal amount” while 18 are owned and financed by Mesa...page 5 http://investor.mesa-air.com/static-...3-aa0e3c0c0443

And the new 20 are owned and financed by Mesa.
Mesa Air Group Adds New Aircraft, Extends Contract with United Airlines | Mesa Air Group

So, 38 175s to be owned/financed by Mesa and 42 owned by United.

18 of the 700s are owned by Mesa. 48 of the 900s are owned by Mesa, and 16 are leased.

Your information is partially incorrect. Mess couldn’t get agreeable financing so UA is purchasing the 20 ejets and leasing them to mesa. Mesa now owns more of the 900s and all but 5 of the 700s outright.
