Depends, do you want to count the irresponsible ones that are causing portions of the training center to be shut down for a week or two at a time?

I think heís passive aggressively crapping on the instructor who didnít get vaccinated and came down with COVID. Last I heard it was one E-JET instructor who had COVID.

Iíd say itís less passive and more aggressive. This person is a keyboard warrior that thinks people who get vaccinated are better than anyone else. The vaccination protects the individual from symptoms and not others from contacting it from a vaccinated person, so in reality people who get the vaccine are getting for themselves and not to save lives as they claim.

You must be a joy to fly with. No one cares about politics. Also what Otto is referring to is 100% correct. According to the CDC all approved vaccines protect the recipient but you can still contract and spread the virus. This is coming from someone who is vaccinated.

If someone were to get sick with Covid or something else during training and had to sit out a few days. Would you have to wait for the next class? Would you lose seniority? Iím assuming only if you get Covid they wonít pay you?

But are you as likely to contract it as an unvaccinated? The answer to that question is a resounding no. Oh and by the way bookings are starting to fall again.

Which is why I find it strange that Mesa is allowing vaccinated people to forgo a test when theyíve been in contact with a crew member or pax that has covid. Because that person can still spread it to others. But I guess if it makes everyone feel betterÖ

The new guidelines(depending on which document any specific doctor has read that day) can range from quarantine 10 days after the beginning of symptoms + 24 hours without a fever or 14 days after the last sign of symptoms. I highly doubt you will get any kind of pay although in training itís different. Seniority starts when you get your employee Iíd I believe. But I could be wrong on that too, I rarely ever check the seniority list
