Captain training payment

I’ve heard the company is not paying anymore CA salary during upgraded training, is that true?

From what I remember you get captain pay after IOE and you get the difference in captain compensation after completing IOE. But all throughout training you still got FO pay

I'm pretty sure I remember an email months ago trying to attract upgrades that you'd get Capt pay at the start of upgrade training.

I remember that email coming out toward the tail end of November/December of 2019. I know some folks have asked about it and was informed that offer only lasted 1 year. I would check your emails

I upgraded back in April and we only got captain pay after IOE.

Thanks for the answers guys, I think there is not incentive to go and take the CA upgrade and being on F/O salary who knows for how long specially with the training issues going on now, being able to pick up 300% flights as F/O can make just a few hundreds less money than a CA on reserve but surely more than F/O upgraded to a CA waiting for SIM, IOE or any other event

Once you finish IOE, the backpay only counts back to the day you complete simulator checkride, not to the day class started.
